Patent Aisti® Teno Acoustic-Tile

Aisti and Elomatic to design an efficient manufacturing process for Aisti® Teno

Aisti has partnered with Elomatic, a Finnish engineering and consulting company, to design the production line for its ecological acoustic tile, Aisti® Teno. The collaboration resulted in the development of a tailored manufacturing process for Aisti’s inaugural commercial acoustic factory.

Through this partnership, Elomatic selected the machinery and equipment for the production line and was responsible for the conceptual design of the post-processing equipment line and machinery. Antti Fredrikson, Founder and COO at Aisti, expressed confidence in the partnership:

“We are launching a new type of ecological acoustic tile to the market that can compete in terms of pricing. We knew that this approach would place high demands on production efficiency. The partnership with Elomatic gave us the confidence that we had the best possible people at our disposal to take care of the development of the production process and the state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.”

Timo Pirinen, Senior Vice President at Elomatic, also commented:

“It has been truly rewarding to work with Aisti and collaborate on fostering sustainable development. Elomatic has a long experience in the wood fiber processing industry, which is why we knew that we had the expertise to develop new technology and manufacturing line all the way from concept development to implementation. This collaboration is exactly what we strive for: open, evolving, broad and goal oriented.”

Elomatic’s mechanical design expertise, in addition to a solid background in the wood fiber processing industry, was an asset to the project, allowing for the design of solutions tailored to Aisti’s needs and effective cost management for the factory project.

With an annual production capacity of 2.5 million square meters, Aisti’s inaugural factory is set to commence production of Aisti® Teno acoustic tiles in 2025. Aisti’s Teno will introduce a carbon-cutting solution that can reduce the carbon footprint of suspended ceiling acoustic solutions by up to 60%.

Aisti’s collaboration with Elomatic represents a significant leap forward in ecological acoustic tile manufacturing and underlines their shared commitment to sustainability and innovation.
