Aisti and Elomatic Join Forces to Build a Sustainable Factory in Kitee
Exciting news. We, at Aisti, have teamed up with Elomatic, a globally renowned engineering and consulting company. Together, we will design our first commercial production facility in Kitee. This exciting partnership marks a major milestone in Aisti’s mission to provide sustainable, innovative acoustic solutions for the construction industry.
Under this collaboration, Elomatic will oversee the engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) for the Kitee factory. Their extensive expertise will ensure that the facility meets high environmental standards and operates efficiently throughout its lifecycle.
Together for better results
“As a result of this cooperation with Elomatic, we are one step closer to realising our vision for the Kitee factory,” says Mikko Paananen, CEO of Aisti and continues “By combining Elomatic’s engineering capabilities with Aisti’s sustainable innovations, we will create a state-of-the-art facility that meets both environmental and performance standards.”
Elomatic shares in the excitement. “Aisti is redefining sustainable building materials with their wood fibre-based acoustic tiles, and we’re proud to support their mission,” says Karoliina Joensuu, Senior Vice President of Elomatic.
Towards the future
Construction of the Kitee factory began in December 2024. This facility will be key to Aisti’s growth strategy, enabling international expansion and meeting the global demand for eco-friendly construction materials.
Ultimately, this partnership strengthens our position as a trailblazer in sustainable construction. By leveraging Elomatic’s expertise, Aisti is well-positioned to scale operations and redefine global standards for acoustic materials.
