Aisti signs 2.4 million euro offtake agreement with a large European construction company
[Monday 17.04.2023] – Aisti, a Finnish provider of natural and carbon-negative acoustic solutions, achieved record success in Q1 2023 by signing a 2.4 million euro offtake agreement with a large European construction company. The deal covers 16 % of the company’s first-year production capacity and requires Aisti to supply the customer with Aisti® Teno acoustic tiles for their interior construction projects.
This partnership represents a significant step towards achieving Net zero-carbon buildings as developers and construction companies continue to invest in natural building materials. Aisti® Teno acoustic tiles are the world’s first affordable and recyclable wood fiber tiles that meet both environmental demands and indoor acoustic standards. The tiles also have a positive carbon handprint, reducing up to 10 kg of builders’ carbon emissions. By 2030, Aisti® Teno could reduce buildings’ CO₂ emissions by 3.5 megatons when replacing traditional alternatives.
“As the first supplier of high-quality, sustainable and affordable acoustic tiles, we are setting a new standard for innovation and sustainability in the industry,” says Mikko Paananen, Founder and CEO of Aisti. “This deal signifies the industry’s shift towards building materials that deliver on decarbonization targets and proves that our product is in high demand.”
Also, Aisti has successfully signed 7 LOIs (letters of Intent) with name partners, including NREP, Pozzoni Architecture, YIT, and SRT Sisärakennustekniikka. When fully implemented, the contracts will fill Aisti’s order books for almost two years. The latest off-take agreement adds to Aisti’s growing portfolio of clients, highlighting the company’s upward trajectory and potential for market growth.
Aisti is receiving pre-orders from customers wanting to ensure their future quota of Aisti® Teno acoustic tiles. The first orders are expected to be delivered in 2025.
