Bringing our vision to life: This is our journey to €29M Series A success

Huge news! 29 million times huge news!

We’re eagerly tuning into something new as we introduce a major milestone in our journey at Aisti: successfully closing our €29 million Series A funding round. This marks a transformative step toward building our first commercial factory in Kitee, Finland, delivering our natural wood fibre based product innovation to the modern construction industry.

Our Aisti® Teno acoustic tiles are thoughtfully designed with sustainability and functionality at heart. Specifically, they are made from highly renewable wood fibres and are free from plastic binders and irritating mineral wool fibres.

Furthermore, they are recyclable by nature and user-friendly. Most importantly, they offer exceptional acoustic performance – without a premium price tag. Through this innovation, we aim to provide a real, natural alternative to traditional mineral wool products profoundly affecting the well-being of people and environments alike.

Our reimagined process using foam-forming technology enables us to create highly porous, lightweight materials. These materials meet the technical demands of modern construction while reducing the industry’s environmental impact. These materials are not only perfect for suspended ceilings but also have potential applications in thermal insulation, packaging, and composites.

Thanks to the incredible support of our early-stage investors – Voima Ventures, Maki.vc, Valve Ventures Consortium, private investors as well as non-equity financing partners Norion Bank, South Savo ELY Centre, Finnish Climate Fund and Finnvera – we’re now ready to scale up.

Moving forward

With the factory in Kitee, we will achieve a production capacity of 2.5 million square meters annually. It allows us to meet the growing demand for natural building solutions in the Nordics and beyond.

This is beyond proud moment for all of us at Aisti as we continue our mission to reshape the construction industry, combining innovation, sustainability, and affordability.

Together, we are building a future where materials are as kind to the environments as they are to the people who use them.

Here’s to the next safe and sound chapter, where we bring our mission and vision to life.

Cheers and stay tuned.
