As a manufacturer bringing a new acoustic material to the construction market, Aisti has a responsibility to understand the materials, suppliers, services and data behind its products, including compliance, traceability, emissions, chemical information, working conditions and the reliability of sustainability claims.
Construction is becoming more data-driven. Customers, designers, contractors, regulators and financing partners increasingly expect building products to come with reliable documentation, transparent sourcing and verifiable data. That is why Aisti works with suppliers and partners to strengthen the data, documentation and practices behind responsible manufacturing and responsible growth.
Aisti’s partner and supplier cooperation is based on compliance, transparency, verifiable information and continuous improvement. We want to understand the origin, composition, documentation and material risks of the products, materials and services supplied to us.
We do not expect every supplier to have perfect data from day one. What matters is openness about the current situation, identified gaps and next steps. A responsible value chain is built together: through dialogue, practical tools, documentation and long-term cooperation.
Aisti expects its suppliers, service providers and partners to meet a common minimum level, where applicable. This includes compliance with laws and ethical principles, health and safety, human rights, information security, confidentiality, quality, traceability, chemical compliance and the ability to provide relevant sustainability, emissions and compliance data.
The requirements are applied based on the supplier’s role, the product or service supplied and the risks related to the cooperation. For critical suppliers and materials, more detailed documentation, assessments, corrective actions or audits may be required. Aisti collects supplier data to support responsible decision-making, product documentation and continuous improvement. The information we request is not collected for reporting alone. It helps us build more reliable emissions accounting, understand product life-cycle impacts, support future climate targets and identify opportunities for better materials, lower-impact logistics, circularity solutions and joint development projects with our partners.
Depending on the supplier category, we may request relevant product, activity, emissions, compliance or verification data. If kgCO₂e data is not yet available, activity data can be an important first step.
Aisti is building industrial production for a new generation of acoustic materials. As production scales, our supplier base, documentation needs and reporting expectations will grow as well. We are therefore building supplier responsibility into our operating model from the beginning, through requirements, risk assessment, monitoring, traceability and emissions data, but also through dialogue, development and long-term cooperation with our partners.
Responsible growth is not only about controlling risks. It is also about finding better solutions together: improved data, smarter material choices, lower-impact logistics, stronger traceability, resilient supply chains and new ways to support circularity and responsible manufacturing.
